FORT MILL --
York County Animal Control seized a vicious dog last week after it allegedly attacked another dog.
A 26-year-old Fort Mill woman was walking her dog down Willowbrook Drive Wednesday morning when another dog attacked them, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report. Two neighbors helped pull the dog off of the woman's dog.
The dog who attacked the woman's dog had blood around its mouth when deputies arrived, the report states. A deputy was able to follow the dog and detain him until Animal Control arrived and took control of it.
Deputies believe the dog belongs to another neighbor on the same road, but couldn't locate them at the time of the report, the report states. Charges are pending, as the dog was in violation of the county's leash ordinance.
The woman took her dog to the vet and found it suffered injuries to its tail and back area, according to the report. It is expected to live.
