Mr. Shaw focuses his law practice on cases involving wrongful deaths and serious bodily injuries. He handles claims relating to vehicle, tractor-trailer, school bus and bicycle collisions, nursing home abuse, and all injury claims when a person is treating or dealing with surgeons, doctors, chiropractors, nurses and nursing homes.
Mr. Shaw’s vast legal experience has also allowed him to practice in many areas of the law including Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Family Court cases involving children and Real Estate Transactions.
Mr. Shaw attended the University of South Carolina for his final year of Law School and is admitted to practice law in the State of South Carolina. He received his Juris Doctor and attended his first two years of law school at the University of Akron in Ohio. Mr. Shaw is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Buffalo where he earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree majoring in Criminal Justice. Mr. Shaw is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and a member of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Shaw believes that early representation, investigation, legal research and preparing a case for trial as soon as practicable are some of the most important aspects of any claim for acquiring higher jury awards and maximizing settlements.
